One of the things I really enjoy about greeting cards is getting to know some of the artists behind the artwork on them. 

Each artist has a unique story and a unique art style that helps the greeting card come to life. 

Today’s post focuses on card artist Anne Keenan Higgins.

The artist behind the popular Lu-lu collections, Anne Keenan Higgins was born and raised in Michigan and graduated from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor. Anne Keenan Higgins began her career as an art director in advertising agencies in and around Detroit.

After a decade of living and working in northern California and Los Angeles, Anne Keenan Higgins now resides in Southeastern Michigan. When she’s not painting in her studio, Anne is biking, traveling or shopping for the perfect shoe.
